The Showing Register (TSR) is delighted to announce the re-launch of the Premier Amateur Points League, created to provide a unique opportunity for Amateurs to further their showing careers and provide an additional pathway to Horse of the Year Show.
Awarding points for consistency and achievement at HOYS qualifiers, the Premier Amateur Points League is this year exclusive to TSR Amateur Members. Competitors entered in designated HOYS 2025 qualifiers (that have been allocated TSR Amateur Points schemes) can work their way towards qualification for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show, as well as the TSR Premier Amateur Show running in September 2025.
Points are awarded to eligible Amateur combinations holding a valid TSR membership who are placed from first to sixth in designated HOYS 2025 qualifiers, allowing members to build their points during the season and work their way to HOYS. For HOYS qualification, points will be totalled from the top 5 placings, those that have topped their section and have a minimum of 10 points, will gain their golden ticket for the Arena of Dreams in 2025.
Members of TSR not only benefit from the Premier Amateur Points League, but also have eligibility for many HOYS qualifiers across the country. The advantages of membership also allow for access to exclusive training, Talent Spotting and expert support. To be eligible for the Amateur Points League and HOYS qualification, all Amateurs must be members of TSR before 1st May 2025.
