Steps

Step 1. Register your show using the online form or download the form via the red button above.

Step 2. Include the text below in your schedule, any of your ridden & in hand classes can be qualifiers

TSR Showing Finals – This show is a qualifier for the TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!

TSR Riders Finals – 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.

TSR In Hand Finals – The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at http://www.theshowingregister.co.uk

TSR Medal Awards – TSR members can collect qualification cards & signatures and redeem for a TSR Medal see TSR website for details. Full details at www.theshowingregister.co.uk

BSHA Grass Roots Champs & SHGB BRC Champs – With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs on in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre – See www.britishshowhorse.org for more info & eligibility. 

Step 3. Submit your draft schedule and TSR will send you qualification cards to give out to the 1st & 2nd riders in each RIDDEN class that you choose to be a qualifier. You do not have to hand out qualification cards for the In Hand classes. Handlers must have a Card signed in the ring by the judge and it is the handlers responsibility to have the card.

Which Classes can be Qualifiers?

Ridden Classes
ANY Ridden class with a performance element (Best Turned Out or prettiest mare are not eligible as these do not give a show).

For example the following types of RIDDEN classes are eligible:- Ridden Horse or Pony, Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ex Race Horse, Riding Club Horse, Pony Club Pony, Competition Horse/Pony, Show Pony , Show Hunter Pony , Part Breds, Mountain & Moorland, Coloured Native/Traditional, Coloured Non-Native, Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein, Mountain & Moorland First Ridden, Spotted Horses & Ponies, Rare & Foreign Breeds, Veteran (15 years plus), Anglo/Part Bred Arabs, Best Rider, Working Hunter Pony, Working Hunter, M&M WHP, Un Registered M&M, Intermediate SRT/SHT, Hacks, Riding Horses, Hunter, Cobs.

In Hand Classes
ANY In Hand Class can be a qualifier – There are no cards to award it is the handlers responsibility to have the card in the ring to be signed by the judge. The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge. Cards available from the TSR website and we will post you some to have in Secretaries case any has forgotten it on the day of the show.

Conditions of TSR Show Registration

1. Shows Must include the following wording in the schedule

Front Cover – Qualifier for TSR Showing Finals.

Inside Schedule – TSR Showing Finals – This show is a qualifier for the TSR Showing Finals. 2. A copy of the draft schedule with TSR wording should be forwarded by email to:  or hard copy to The Showing Register, Unit 1 Pen Y Banc, Oakley Park, Llandinam, Powys, SY17 5BE. This is so we can check the TSR wording and the number of cards needed for your ridden classes.

3. Qualification cards will be sent out 4 weeks prior to the event.

4. Shows after 1st October are qualifiers for the following year.

5. Registered shows MUST have Public Liability Insurance for an adequate limit of indemnity according to the size and nature of the event.

6. Registered shows MUST comply to the Health & Safety regulations appropriate for the event and the provision of medical services and fire precautions. The organisers must ensure the Health & Safety of all persons, whether they are organisers, exhibitors or members of the public or any other person who may be affected whilst at the event.
